Owner's gift inscription to each volumes, light to moderate tide marks to three of the four boards, moderate rippling to upper edges of text and contents pages of volume one, and to title page of volume two,some rubbing and light scuffs or minor scratches, plates all clean and bright with no rippling. Despite flaws, still a handsome and very useful set with hinges and joints firm. Item #149635
