Viking, 1945. First edition, first printing. Variant canary yellow binding, as opposed to the originally selected light buff cloth, which ran out during production (Goldstone and Payne A22b). A couple faint smudges to bright yellow cloth, very shallow, almost indiscernible vertical crease to spine, near fine in very good faintly rubbed and minimally edge worn dust jacket with small chip to spine head and tiny, closed nick to front panel, in mylar cover. Internally very clean and tight, jacket image very bright. Item #215044
