For the first time, the Valley was surveyed and the peaks were mapped out. Hennig was instrumental in exploring the terrain, and his detailed Ski Valley Sun Guide is the earliest skiing guide written for popular use.
This copy is nicely inscribed, signed, and dated by Hennig on the title page to one of his students.
