AN INTRODUCTION TO SACRED TEXTS

An accessible and abridged anthology of the vast breadth of sacred eastern texts. Wilson set out to compile a more approachable single-volume anthology, in contrast to Friedrich Max Müller's 50-volume intellectual exploration published by Oxford in the early twentieth-century. With his critical and biographical sketches, Wilson's edition, while abridged, will satisfy the introductory curiosities of any exploration into the sacred texts of the East.
