ARKHAM HOUSE FOUNDER'S HOMETOWN
Remembered for his role as one of the first publishers of H. P. Lovecraft and founder of Arkham House, August Derleth was also an ambitious regional writer. A man deeply in love with his birthplace, Sac Prairie, Wisconsin, Derleth planned to write up to fifty books, both fiction and nonfiction, cataloguing his home and its midwestern spirit. Village Year is the first journal installation in the series, meditating on nature and small town living.
Presented here is a first edition, first printing.
