CRAZY FOR CLOCKS
Wallace Nutting's (1861-1941) antique collection spiraled out from his work as a photographer. Fond of "Colonial" photographs of women amidst period furniture, Nutting collected antique chairs, clocks, and looking glasses that he slowly gained expertise in. Nutting eventually published guides on his antique collections, including this survey of clocks from around the world, complete with photographs of each timepiece.
This charming second edition includes contemporary handwritten notes throughout and clock ephemera laid in.
